Project Linus

We will continue supporting Project Linus in their effort to supply quilts and blankets to those most in need of them. Project Linus collects handmade quilts and blankets for children of all ages.

Luella’s Quilt Basket will continue to support Project Linus by collecting your finished quilts and passing them along to the local Project Linus chapter.

Some guidelines for the quilts and blankets: They should be a minimum of 40” x 40” up to lap size. They must be finished! Blankets are welcomed as well; a length of fleece with the ends fringed and tied is usually well loved by a child.

If you possibly can, Project Linus is also asking for a monetary donation of $2-3 with your quilt donation to help defray the cost of shipping the quilts. Here's the Project Linus web site for more details: http://www.projectlinus.org/
