Sewing and Embroidery
Machine Training
Free if purchased from Luella’s Quilt Basket, otherwise: $75 each session
From basic operation and maintenance
to embroidery and connectivity, the series
of five Machine Training classes is
designed to teach you, the new owner,
about the features and capabilities of
your Husqvarna Viking sewing machine.
While some of the classes do not apply
to all models, everyone is welcome to attend all five sessions.
- Session 1 covers the basic operation
and maintenance of your sewing machine.
- Session 2 goes a bit beyond the basics
into creative sewing techniques.
- Session 3 covers decorative sewing.
- Session 4 is all about the embroidery functions of your machine.
- Session 5 covers connectivity and other exclusive features of your Designer Diamond or Designer SE.
Machine Training classes are free with
the purchase of your machine from
Luella’s Quilt Basket. If you purchased
your machine elsewhere, there is a
charge of $75 per session. Ask any Basket
Lady which classes apply to your
machine.
All Machine Training classes are on
Mondays from 2:00pm to 4:30pm or
6:30pm to 9:00pm
Series 1: April 19, 26, May 3, 10, 24
Series 2: August 2, 9, 23, 30, Sept. 13
Serger Training
Free if purchased from Luella’s Quilt Basket, otherwise: $75 each session
In Serger Training you will learn the
features and capabilities of your new
Husqvarna Viking serger. This three
session series of classes will take you
from basic operation and maintenance
through flat-locking, chain stitching and
cover stitch.
- Session 1 is an introduction to the basic operation of any of the
Husqvarna Viking sergers.
- Session 2 covers 2, 3 and 4 thread
serging such as overlock, rolled
edge, flat-locking, etc.
- Session 3 covers 5 thread
techniques, cover stitch and chain
stitch.
The Serger Training classes are free with the purchase of your serger from Luella’s Quilt Basket. If you purchased your serger elsewhere, there is a charge of $75 per session. Ask any Basket Lady which classes apply to your serger.
All Serger Classes are from 6:30pm to
9:30pm
